Blackwood, NJ— Triangle Tube, an industry leader in high efficiency boiler and hot water systems, is pleased to announce the availability of its Optima Series hydronic controls. This new line of eight controls is custom engineered to work with Triangle Tube’s Prestige Boilers for total hydronic system control. Installers can now specify these controls utilizing packaged wiring and piping diagrams to speed system design and installation.
Four new boiler controls integrate the boiler seamlessly with other heat sources such as Solar or Geothermal systems to optimize the potential of these alternative energy sources. These controls can also be used to connect and control up to 16 boilers with full modulation, outdoor reset and lead stage rotation. Parallel Modulation allows all connected boilers to modulate together at lower firing rates to maximize system efficiency. Because they are designed for the Prestige boilers, these new controls can quickly be installed and programmed for optimal efficiency.
Four new valve and pump controls provide precise distribution of heat throughout the system. The new Zone Control Panel controls up to 5 pumps or valves and can be connected to a second Zone Control Panel to control up to 10 pumps or valves. The industry leading digital display makes set-up quick and easy. The universal control of both pumps and valves reduces the number of panels that need to be stocked. The new Motorized Valve Control, and Injection Mixing Control can be used to control multiple water temperature set-points throughout the system. The Snow Melt Control monitors the system water temperatures to slowly raise, and then maintain, the slab temperature to prevent the accumulation of snow. This system is an affordable alternative to controls that require and in-slab sensor.
